Reflective Insulation and Vapour Control
Foil-Tec Double acts as both a reflective insulation layer and a vapour barrier, helping to reduce radiant heat loss and restrict moisture movement through roofs, walls, and floors. By limiting air leakage and reflecting heat back into the building, it contributes to improved thermal performance.
Condensation Protection
When installed with sealed joints using Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape, Foil-Tec Double creates a continuous vapour control barrier that helps reduce the risk of condensation within the building structure, protecting insulation and improving overall efficiency.

Do I need to tape this product?
We do advise using our Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape around all of the joints and edges this ensures no passage of moisture.
Can I use this product behind plasterboard?
Yes. This can be installed directly behind plasterboard, stapled to rafters or battens. When this product is fully taped and sealed, FoilTec will act as high performing vapour barrier, eliminating condensation.
