Introducing EcoQuilt45 – the latest addition to our Multifoil Insulation Range

We are all aware of how crucial insulation is for our homes. Nobody wants the heat in their home to go to waste, especially with energy costs on the rise and the effects of climate change front and center in our minds. Insulation made of multiple foils assists in retaining heat in your house. But it also serves a function during the summer, keeping your house cool by preventing too much heat from entering. As a result, running fans during the warmer months costs less money or may not even be required.

You may have heard of multifoil, a sort of insulation with a protective covering. What distinguishes multifoil from other types of insulation is that high-performance foil insulation lowers heat loss and can lower your energy costs. Is it appropriate for your project to install multifoil insulation in your home?

Multifoil Insulation Explained…

Simply put, multifoil is an insulation material composed of layers of foil and wadding. Multifoil insulation is frequently installed in new construction, although it can also be applied to older buildings. It is simple to install, more energy-efficient than many conventional types of insulation and has a variety of beneficial characteristics, including:

  • Vapour control: By preventing the insulation from becoming moist, it can continue to function.
  • Useful alone or in combination with other coverings.
  • Heat is reflected by the foil layer, preventing it from escaping the structure.
  • Because it is thinner than standard insulation, it can be used on walls, floors, or ceilings.

To achieve excellent results, multifoil insulation can be used alone, with different levels of insulation, or in combination with other products. If you already have another multilayer insulation done, you may add multifoil on top of it to make even the draughtiest old homes warm and comfortable.
